The new album features traditional songs from Great Britain, including carols, lullabies and carols. Additionally, the album will have two original songs from the legendary singer-songwriter and former Police frontman: “Lullaby for an Anxious Child” and “The Hounds of Winter.”
According to Billboard, the new album is a collaboration with Robert Sadin, producer and arranger of Herbie Hancock’s Grammy Award winning album “Gershwin’s World. Guest appearances will include guitarist Dominic Miller, a long-time collaborator. Source: Sting Announces ‘Winter’ Album For Fall
Regarding the new album, which features Sting is quoted as saying:
“The theme of winter is rich in inspiration and material,” Sting said. “By filtering all of these disparate styles into one album I hope we have created something refreshing and new.”
