Green's style, so often compared to that of Terrence Malick, takes a slightly different turn here as the director delivers a relatively straightforward thriller. My Rating:  Personal comments: Sam Rockwell's performance is deeply affecting and proves he's the most underestimated actor in Hollywood at the moment. Strangely intertwined with the tragic drama that unfolds is an incredibly sweet, quietly moving high school romance. My only gripe with this film is Beckinsdale's sub-par performance.
